We carry three types of BMW and VW/Audi Diagnostic software starting with:

 

• GT1 System which is required for your older BMW’s and Mini’s from 1992-2005.

• ISTA/ D and ISTA /P which is needed for your BMW, Mini, and Rolls Royce from 2002-2012.

ACR
MAINTENANCE

Most cars today will tell you what they need. From 2006 to current models they all have what is called CBS Data (Condition Based Service) where your VW/Audi, BMW, Mini, and Rolls Royce will tell you what maintenance is due.

 

Older cars have three indicated service recommendations indicated by either four green bars followed up with a yellow and then red or they will have a mileage countdown prior to starting your vehicle which will appear in your odometer. The first is an oil service which usually consists of an oil change and cabin filter replacement if needed. The next will be an inspection 1 which is an oil service followed up with engine air filter, Tire rotation (If Applicable), and a complete vehicle scan and vehicle inspection with test drive. The last is an inspection 2 which is all filters, spark plugs, drive belts, complete vehicle scan, and test drive. Pricing varies per series or model options.

PROGRAMMING

At ACR Motor Works we also provide vehicle coding and programming. When ever you need to replace any control module or some basic component that requires learning or adaptation reset, or coding to your vehicle we have the software capabilities to perform it correctly. We carry the VW/AUDI and  BMW Factory software however we do not do any performance tuning or coding.

We carry the BMW Factory software however we do not do any performance tuning or coding.

N20 & N26

N20 and N26 Engines have an issue with their timing chains stretching and breaking timing chain guides causing these engines to jump engine timing and causing oil pump drive issues which will cause oil pressure loss and possible bearing failure with the camshafts in the cylinder heads. BMW has currently a mileage extension warranty of these engines of 7 years or 70,000 miles which ever comes first. However once out of warranty extension the customers are responsible for all repairs after that time or mileage has passed. We here at ACR MOTOR WORKS have the Special tools for replacing the timing chains provided there isn’t any camshaft damage or valve piston interference causing the motor needing replacement.
